Top 5 Fridays – Christmas Movies

5. White Christmas (1954)

A classic. My Granny used to tape Danny Kaye films off the tv for us when we were kids, but I never saw this movie until 3 years ago. Have watched it each year since.

4. The Santa Clause (1994)

A bit cheesy, but I like it.

3. Love Actually (2003)

Such a good cast, interweaving stories and a great concoction of love, sadness, humour and friendship at Christmas.

2. Home Alone: Lost in New York (1992)

Probably like this one so much because of it’s location 😄

1. Elf (2003)

So funny and heartwarming and is one of the best contemporary Christmas films in my book 🙂

* Miracle on 34th Street also one of my favourites, mainly due to Richard Attenborough’s Santa. *
